Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Mitra application ("the app"), published by Prajwal Naik ("we", "us"), Kumta, Karnataka, India. By downloading or using Mitra, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Mitra on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies in addition to these Terms.
2. Free trial and one-time purchase
- Mitra offers a 30-day free trial with full features and no credit card required.
- After the trial, continued access to premium functionality requires a one-time purchase of $9.99 (or the local equivalent set by the App Store). This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — there is nothing to renew or cancel.
- The trial period is tied to your Apple Account and cannot be reset by deleting and reinstalling the app.
- Your purchase can be restored at no cost on any device signed into the same Apple Account via "Restore Purchase."
- All payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, tamper with, circumvent trial or licensing mechanisms of, or misuse the app, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law. You are responsible for the content you create in the app.
4. Your data
Mitra stores your content on your device and in your private iCloud. We do not operate a backend and do not receive your data. See our Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple Account and device backups.
5. Health disclaimer
Mitra is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Any health-related context it displays (including sleep, recovery, activity, or cycle information from Apple Health) is informational and for personal planning only. It is not a diagnosis and must not be used for medical, conception, or contraception decisions. Always consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data sync will always succeed.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app. Because your data is stored under your own Apple Account, you are responsible for its backup and retention.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kumta, Karnataka, India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under your local law.
